Chest Throbs, Sweaty Palms,
Bitten lip, shaking arms.
A heart that seems to jump at the chance,
Of the smallest, sweetest, fine romance.

Eyes that flit, eyes that stare,
A steel demeanour without compare,
And yet, an ember can create,
That metal to become ornate.

Less a shield, more a door,
